Frame + Mesh under tension – Screen
Mesh is quoted in strands per centimeter and vary for different applications.

Popular mesh counts:

  • 18 – 21 ideal for glitter prints.
  • 32 mesh ideal for Water-based Flexi Opaque White Ink.
  • 43 mesh ideal for Water-based Aquaprint and Opaque Ink.
  • 61 Yellow mesh ideal for halftone / process / CMYK prints with Water-based inks.
  • 90 Yellow mesh ideal for halftone / process / CMYK prints with Plastisol inks.

Squeegee Choice

A squeegee should be at least 4cm wider than the print size (+/- 2cm wider on either side).

Popular squeegee sizes:

  • 12cm ideal for pocket, sleeve, neck, label size prints.
  • 24cm ideal for A4 portrait size prints.
  • 32cm ideal for A4 landscape / A3 portrait size prints.
  • 45cm ideal for fabric panels.
